“Dartmouth Sports Plex”, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Traveling from: U.S.A. via Houlton Maine,
(a) Travel on “I-95” north to Houlton, then on to Woodstock, New Brunswick
Traveling east from Ontario, Quebec,
(b) at Woodstock New Brunswick, travel along the “Trans Canada Highway (route-2 )
towards Fredericton.
(c) At Fredericton stay on “Trans Canada Hwy” (route-2)
towards Moncton.
(d) At Moncton, stay on “Trans Canada Hwy” (route-2) towards “Sackville”
(e) At Sackville, stay on “Trans Canada Hwy (route–2) towards “Nova Scotia Border”
(f) At Nova Scotia Border stay on “Trans Canada Hwy” towards “ Springhill , Truro”
(Note: once entering Nova Scotia, the “Trans CanadaHwy” changes it’s route numbers, from route 2 to “104”)
(g) At Truro leave “Trans Canada Hwy” and continue on route 102 (Note: Be sure to look for the sign
“Only Exit to Halifax” )
(h) Route 102 South, from Truro towards Halifax, Dartmouth
take route 118 at Miller Lake.
(Note: After passing Halifax International Airport
turnoff, "Miller Lake”, will be on your left - Keep left for route – 118,
sign will read "Halifax/Dartmouth via Bridges”)
Route 118 turns into “Woodlawn Ave” when entering the city of Dartmouth
Stay on route 118/Woodlawn Ave until the very end
(i) At the end of Woodlawn Ave turn left onto “Victoria Road”
(j) Travel along Victoria Road, turn right onto “Thistle Street” Dartmouth Sports Plex will be on the right.
Ferry crossings from U.S.A. to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
Leaving the ferry terminal, look for “route 103” towards Shelburne,
Follow route “103” passing Shelburne, Liverpool, Bridgewater, Mahone Bay,
Traveling towards Halifax.
At Halifax, leave 103, exiting onto “Bayers Road” (route 102)
At the end of Bayers Road, cross over Windsor St. onto “Young Street”
Turn right from Young St. onto “Gottingen Street”
Proceed on Gottingen Street until North Street, turn left onto North Street
(Note: at this point you will see the “Angus L. MacDonald Bridge”)
Cross over Halifax Harbor on the “Angus L. MacDonald Bridge”
When exiting the bridge, go straight onto “Nantucket Ave”,
The Dartmouth Sports Plex will be on your right.
Travel Directions from Halifax International Airport
to the Comfort Inn, 456 Windmill Road, Dartmouth.
Leaving the airport follow the signs for “Halifax / Dartmouth”.
You will be on route 102 south.
At Miller Lake, you leave route 102 and look for “route 118”
the highway splits… Keep left…
Follow the signs that says “Halifax / Dartmouth via Bridges”
At the city of Dartmouth, take exit “4”
and travel on route “111”, traveling towards
“A. Murray MacKay Bridge”
(do NOT cross bridge)
Take exit “2W” onto Victoria Road
Immediately cross into the left lane,
The first set of lights is the intersection of “Victoria Road” and “Windmill Road”
Turn left onto Windmill Road.
Travel along Windmill Road
Comfort Inn will be on your left.
Travel directions from Comfort Inn to the Dartmouth Sports Plex
Leaving the Comfort Inn, turn left onto “Windmill Road,”
Travel along “Windmill Road” until “Albro Lake Road’
Turn left onto “Albro Lake Road”
Travel along Albro Lake only one block
And turn right onto “Wyse Road”
NOTE:
As you travel on “Wyse Road”
You will come to the “Angus L. MacDonald Bridge”
Which will be on your right side,
The Dartmouth Sports Plex is diagonally across from
The “Angus L.MacDonald Bridge”
